The Spokane Holistic Chamber of Commerce Christmas Party will be on Thursday December 17th at 7 p.m. at The Saranac Building, 25 West Main Street. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor and there we are! The meeting is free and open to anyone with a holistic mindset. You do not need to be a member. This will be our annual christmas party. There will be free refreshments, but you are invited to contribute to a potluck style environment if you wish.

Sandpoint Social Meeting

Sandpoint Region Holistic Chamber of Commerce (SRHCC) will be having a "Get Acquainted" social this Thursday, December 3rd, 6 - 8 PM at Dolce, 105 South 1st Avenue in Sandpoint. This will be the first event of this exciting new organization.

The SRHCC is here to serve the holisitc, alternative, green, spiritual lifestyle, whether you are a practitioner, client, business, or interested in any way. Come learn about our vision, what we have to offer (so far...), and what the future holds. Bring your ideas!

There will be free hors d'oeuvres a cash bar available.

The planning committee for the new Sandpoint Region Holistic Chamber of
Commerce is pleased to announce our first event!

We are having an informal holiday "Get acquainted" social on Thursday,

These awards are issued once a year by the Spokane Holistic Chamber of Commerce to individuals and businesses that, work to further the “Holistic Community”. Criteria is giving back to the community, promoting a holistic lifestyle, and being an example to the community (walking their talk).

The Awards are:
Holistic Health care Provider of the Year
Holistic Business of the Year
Holistic BodyWorker of the Year
Holistic Teacher of the Year
Holistic Non-Profit Business of the Year

As our group get going perhaps we should consider these awards for people in our region to honor those that are leading the way in the holistic community, I know that the Spokane group has told others to use these ideas for ther chambers as well so we should consider this in the future, what does every one think of this idea??

Also if you know of anyone in the Spokane area nominate them now, one does not have to be a member of the Spokane Holistic chamber of Commerce to nominate or vote for these holistic leaders in the Spokane area.

for you where you can network with others as well as help
educate others about holistic principles.

What will we do? This is an organization for business professionals that share a holistic vision of life and business.

The purpose of the Palouse Regional Holistic Chamber of Commerce is to support holistic oriented business prosper and support one another in their endeavor to educate the public about the holistic approach to life and business.

Much like other Chambers of Commerce we will provide business development support for holistic businesses and individuals through various meetings and seminars. We also want to create an increased holistic community presence through the development of a speaker’s bureau and provide a forum in which business people of all professions can be supported and affirmed in their commitment to a holistic approach to business and life. We also plan to engage in other activities related to supporting a holistic approach to life and business as well as to educating people as to the benefits of a holistic lifestyle.

This is our vision:
• We see every individual and business using the power of their consumerism to create a sustainable economy.

• We support a shift in perception surrounding competition, seeing it as a tool to refine one’s level of service rather than a source of fear.

• We create and support educational opportunities aimed at empowering our membership to create abundance, prosperity and profitability in business;

• The products and services of our membership become accessible to the mainstream consumer through educational seminars created for the general public.
We have a speaker’s bureau composed of our members who are willing and able to make presentations to the general public at various meetings and gatherings.

Building a Holistic Lifestyle

The purpose of the Palouse Regional Holistic Chamber of Commerce, is to facilitate awareness in our region, of Washington and Idaho. We aspire to help people realize the possibility of living a more holistic and sustainable lifestyle. This means doing things in a way that benefits individuals and the earth we inhabit.

To that end we are bringing together health professionals and business people who can help to expand the community awareness. Awareness of lifestyle issues such as health, nutrition, exercise, relaxation, mental attitudes, the environment, and interdependency of small businesses is our goal.

Our meetings are free to the public and open to everyone.

The awareness we encourage and cultivate will help our community break down cultural and sociological barriers. As the barriers break down, a network of interdependency will develop. We can escape the big business paradigm and live on a more personal level.

The result is a physically, mentally, and economically healthier community that resonates at a higher vibration. The greater our vibration, the greater positive impact the world around us will feel.

We also intend to network with the other Holistic chamber's of Commerce in the Pacific Northwest and with the new network of Holistic Chamber's of Commerce in the United States
